The course aims at providing the student with knowledge of basic concepts of the macro economics. The modern tools of macro-economic analysis are discussed and the policy framework is elaborated, including the open economy. The emphasis is on examining the overall functioning of the economy, including such phenomena as unemployment, inflation, recession, and economic growth.

Learning Outcome

·      To be able to solve practical problems in economic and in the field of business practice by acquired knowledge and skills

·      The course has been planned to expand a student’s views and outlook on leadership, entrepreneurship and ethics.

·      The course is structured in such a way that it may help in increasing the employability of students with continuous value addition.
