Switchgear and Protection

The objective of this course is to introduce students to power system protection and switchgear by teaching them the theory and applications of the main components of power system protection and also the protection system used for generation, transmission, and distribution systems. On the completion of the course, the student should develop the ability and skill to design the protection system needed for each part of the power system
