Fluid Mechanics is considered one of the basic subjects for mechanical & civil engineering students as it develops the thinking and imaginative capacity of the students. An engineer who successfully copes with new problems in the field must have a sound understanding of fundamental principles. The present course is designed to prepare the students in this direction. The contents of the syllabus have been developed keeping in this mind so that the students are exposed to a variety of situations that will test their understanding of the subject both at the concepts and analytical skills.
