This subject deals primarily with the basic principles to
understand the preparation, properties and classification of Dyes,
Carbohydrates, polymers. The course also provides an introduction to the
Organic Spectroscopy specially emphasizing on UV, IR
and NMR spectroscopy and its application in identifying organic
molecules.
