We already know how to find integration, differentiation of a function, how to solve a differential equation or an equation or a system of equations. But in real life most of the problems are not in the known solvable form, we even don't need the exact result in real life, an approximate result may be enough. This is the situation when numerical methods comes in the picture. But Numerical Methods will have large calculations, so we will need the help of computational soft-ware. In the beginning of the course, we will learn about basic commands, operations of MATLAB. Then using MATLAB-programming we will solve mathematical problems through numerical methods.
